Who knew you could drag and drop svg, jpg, png files onto your SCAL3/eCal mat right into your My Design folder…..well Leo at svgcuts did and there is a video to prove it. The video covers several other features too so well worth watching and taking notes. :)

Tried with eCAL and no luck with the drag and drop. Did you have success with it?

Sandy, I tried an svgcuts zip file today, did not do that yesterday and it won't open but the individual files in the zip file did. Maybe a version change since the video was done a year or so ago.

If you drag a png or jpg it is an image and you have to do file/trace bitmap to convert it. It works too.

So try with just individual files and let us know.

Whoooopeeeee it is raining here…..maybe we won't have to stop taking showers now! California is in the worst drought EVER. Happy Day!

Tried again. Purchased an svgcuts file to give it a try as I only had one other that was not unzipped already.

No luck, but was successful with a .jpg file being placed on the mat.
