Newbie Seeking Guidance

Hi! I am very new to cutting without a cartridge and still trying to figure out the tricks. I am using SCAL2 and Inkscape. I have found some SVG files online to cut but for some reason (I don't know if it is from either of the aforementioned software systems or Windows) certain files will cause SCAL to crash. Has anyone had similar issues or know of a solution? I'd love some feedback from seasoned crafters.

I would suggest that you contact support, they will be the best ones to help you and they are very quick to respond.

It is always helpful if you provide info on what operating system you are using and if you are PC or Mac based.

I run a PC with windows 7 sorry I forgot to mention that previously.
