Craft Edge

My friend's father is very ill and in the hospital. He is 94 and I would like a card more for her than for him. Any suggestions?

Sorry, I am no good with cards. I hope they are coping with their grief of him being so sick.

Thanks for responding. He actually passed away yesterday. I have been working on a card all day. I was going to post a pic here, but it didn't cut correctly. Somehow I didn't get all of my svg lines to cut. I am thinking that I didn't do the path correct in inkscape.

I wish I could have helped you, even when people are older and sick it still doesn't make it easy. Do you want to post your file and see if someone can help?

here is the file that I had trouble with. I just made this other one too, but it didn't come out right. Ideas are ALWAYS welcome.

Which part didn't cut right? Was it the rounded edge square in the extras? That wasn't converted to path.

Your card is beautiful, I wish I was that creative.

that and one of the butterflies. The butterfly was basically dotted lines here and there.

I did a 3rd rendition. I don't like any of them so far. So thanks for the compliment. I guess we really are our own worst critics.

I only had a quick second last night to download and I thought they were beautiful. Unfortunately I have company coming ALL day today so won't have a chance to play with your file till tomorrow. I hope someone else can help you with your issues, but I truely don't think your friend will notice anything wrong at all.

Thanks for your comments and your help. I still haven't made that card. But here are the 2 subsequent cards that I made ... I think I am going with the last one.
