I have download the cricut design studio trial version and sure cut a lot

When I send a file to cut a window appears CHEKING MAT but nothing happens it just stay there and noting is cutting on my cricut

Do you have a cartridge in the machine?

Did you also do the firmware update using your trial CDS?

I have download the cricut design studio, do I need to do something? Please tell me what I need to do

You have to update your Cricut Firmware. If you go to your Design Software and open it up > under Help you'll see Update Cricut Firmware. click on that ...It's been awhile but I think when you do that it will also give you the instructions for updating the firmware or if not you can find them on the Cricut website on the page where they have the Design Studio information.

After you update your firmware hopefully everything should work fine.

How do we load the paper in the Cricut Expressions when using SCA?
My Cricut says carteidge not found. I know it's registering as 2.1.

I know this very thing happened to me when I downloaded the trial and I was really upset because this program seemed so very interesting that I wanted to be able to get it.
I had to disable my anti-virus program in order for the firmware upgrade to take effect and also the SCAL download. Another thing I did was to go back to my original design studio software.......I had downloaded the update and that caused a problem also.
Have I confused you? I hope not, but if I did PM me and I will try to help.

You need to have a cartridge in your Cricut Expression, it doesn't matter which one... any cartridge will work. Then use the keypad on the expression to load your mat like you normally would. Now you're ready to explore all the amazing possibilities this software offers.
