Craft Edge

I am having a real problem. I can't uograde this on to my computer. How do you overwrite it? I lost my latest version as I decided to uninstall because I was having so many problems but now only have the start up version 1.00 off the disc and have lost all my files. Please can anyone help with a link to a previous version and a brief instrutoction how overwrite it.
I will be very grateful as I have some friends coming round to cut some files on Wednesday!

You can download 1.016 from the Craft Edge website. Just save it then run it. It will install right over whatever version you have installed. If you need a different version, I would contact CE and ask for a download link for the specific version. HTH

PS: Are you having a problem installing it, or are you having a problem activating it? If you have used both of your activations you will need to contact CE to have them reset your activations for you.

Hi Heather I am having a problem installing. When I click the download link it come as a zipped file. I then extract the install file and it gives the option to open or save. I saved and it did show that it was the right version but it wouldn't open past that screen, it just freezes.
Don't know what to do now unless I am doing something wrong.

Thanks for your reply Haether. Unfortunately this just caused the program to close completely.

I would contact Craft Edge to let them know exactly what is happening so that they can try to sort it out. What was the last version that worked well for you? You might try asking for a download link to that version to get you up and running faster.

Another thing to try is to download the file again. Unzip it, and when it asks save or run select run.
