Craft Edge

Find "KNOTTER" for making celtic knots, using your search engine. The images are nice to cut with scal after creating them.

You are able to outline for an image now and then automatically fill that container with the nodes for editing.

The frames are awesome. What a nice job. I think I will continue to tackle SCAL before I start another program to learn.

G, these are wonderful and so creative. I've still not made anything with Knotter but I'm sure enjoying your designs.

This program is one in a long list that I have tried, and the one that is the most user friendly...PLUS it is a free fully functioning program, and it behaves very much like our beloved scal program does...so the learning was super easy for me.

I had a quick look, as it's a tarball file does this mean you have to compile it for mac (OS-X, snow leopard)?
or is there an installer tucked away someplace?

I never have luck with compile as 99% of the time I get missing commands etc so rarely bother with software that needs to be compiled

Hope it will work for you,... and thanks for all of the encouragement you offered to me, in the past, to try new things.

I have found that the resulting designs work well with scal and so it is like a bonus program.

I'm off hunting as the instructions page is blank LOL
so if/when I find how to compile (it sounds easy but then you do need all the bits to do it LOL)
