I spent my morning duplicating a California Driver's License to use as a Birthday card for my DH's uncle who is celebrating his 92nd birthday and he just passed his driver's test to renew his drivers license.

I'm not providing a file, just the inspriation since all driver license look different but it is just text and a rectangle for some of the elements. I used his real data and printed on 4x6 photo paper and then laminated it.

Great for congrats for new drivers too.

Hope this inspires you for something really different.

That is really funny and a very cute idea for a new driver too! I love it Papasue! Wish you lived closer so we could get together, us old folks think alike!

I never said I thought it was a good idea and I don't think he really drives very much or not at all, just a GUYTHING or even a 16 yr old for that matter

I'm thinking it needs a banner like: Congrats or Yeah across it the card. Sure would love to see some finished projects, as I am better doing the elements vs the final project.
