Not a stupid question I hope

I purchased an svg file from Tina Fitch...??
Absolutely wonderful files she produces...
The one I bought was a lovely card with lots of hearts and some very intricate roses
It has a box to go with it and that has turned out superb....
But the card...hmmmmm
Its a gatefold card...
My Eclips cuts the file out fine...BUT some of the roses have a swirl design on them and that is tearing or not cut properly..
So some of the roses are not complete...
I was wondering if maybe my card is too 'flimsy'..the gsm weight not high enough
Or maybe the blade needs changing or the speed and/or the pressure settings need adjusting...
Card Im using is maybe 210gsm....
I will try and post a picture so you can see
Maybe someone might have an answer or solution...??

at 210 gsm I would not say it was too flimsy.
without having the file it would be hard for anyone to say for sure but, have a look at the box & the card - is there any major differences in the files (apart from the obvious of course in that one is a card and the other a box)
it could be any of the points you mention, so change one thing at a time and retest/cut or you will never know what fixed the problem.
I would change the blade, then adjust the pressure then the speed.

Sorry differences between card and box...
Box has just a lattice type pattern across the top, card is more intricate...as you can see

I was not sure if the box & card were the same design, as it's just a lattice box then it won't help.
in that case then, try a new blade.
then if not a lot better try a lower pressure
just for interest what are the current speed & pressure you are using?

I'm guessing that is two card fronts cut out and it's to show that the not cutting part is not in the same place (I'm only guessing)

When I have troubles...I like to Edit & Select All and Path & Simplify...and with that one click, hope that all will be better...sometimes it is :) But all the other thoughts could be the issue, also.

Thanks for all your replies...in answer to all.....
Gaz is right Pandora...2 card fronts showing not cutting in same place...
One point is Im using pearlescent card

and I dont think that is helping...
I cleaned the blade as there were bits in it
On plain white card it is working just fine...so maybe the pearlescent...not good quality...???
Gaz - Current speed is 4, pressure 3
gj1 - Your comments are also noted..thank you
I even tried turning the pearl card over and cutting on the reverse side but it moved on the mat so that was no good either lol
Im new to Eclips...love it though and I guess we will work well together when I master it LOL
I havent had my machine that long and have only just started using it so didnt think the blade would need changing just yet...but its an option I will try

Thank you all for your help...it is much appreciated

Pearlescent CS is hard to cut with any detail since the pearly layer tends to separate from the base cardstock. I haven't tried cutting any with my eClips so I'm not sure what settings are best, but I would try slowing down your cutting speed. Also, have you tried cutting the design with plain CS? That would give you a starting point without ruining a lot of your pearl CS. It might be necessary to either cut the file at a larger size or switch to regular CS and line it with the pearl.
