HI. I use a number of different graphics software.
In each, you can go to the ruler and drag a guide over.
I have yet to be able to find anything like that in ecal.
Can anyone tell me if it exists and where it is?
(I did a search on the forum and only got one return and it was not about this topic)
Thanks
Paula

There is a "snap to" option. You can set it to grid or unit of measurement. It is in the View/Snap to. You can also change your grid settings in the Edit/Preferences/Grid menu. HTH

But, I don't think that have a "drag guides" thing like Photoshop/Illus, etc. Might be something to email craftedge about and request on a future update.

Yes,the guides that can be dragged are what I was looking for.
This software needs a few things. Maybe when I have some time I will send in an email.
Thanks though

I just utilized an extra rectangle as a guide line...or just a quick check with the cursor box line to see if things are even, or check the x and y coordinates to even up exactly.
I personally don't like guide line things...they pop up when I don't want them and I can never figure out how to get rid of them.
Just my opinion.

Ha you lot are just so clever. I can't work out the other programmes as well as ecal. I like the simplicity of it, and it suits most of the things I do. I admire all you designers out there.
