Will I loose version 2 for the cricut if I upgrade to version 3. I just bought a Cameo. i still want to be able to use my Cricut too.

No you won't lose version 2. Version 3 will install in its old folder, and will not interfere at all with your version 2 folder. You should be good to go!

I'm just backing up what was already said. That's exactly what I read too but I haven't tried it myself. I read it at the ScrappingTable where I purchased my software. It says they will both be installed on your computer, so you will go to SCAL 2 for your Cricut and then SCAL 3 for your Cameo.

The Scrapping Table is an excellent resource. I just visited again and realized I use to go there often when I first started with papercrafting. I had all the dingbat pictures taped ALLLLLL over my scraproom walls...lol. I was so amazed with dingbats and how they work :). She answered so many of my questions.

gj1, I love Scrapping Table too. She explained things really simply and it really helped me get started in a huge way. I still had a few of her videos that I wanted to go back and watch, when I posted it reminded me about those. I went there and they're all gone. There's not much on the site anymore. I looked on YouTube for her videos and they're gone there too. Then I tried to find out what happened and found her blog and it hasn't been updated in along time either. I'm so sad, she really had a lot to contribute. It may still say it on there about the versions of SCAL, if it were me I would do it. I'm sure of what I read. Looks like others are too.

I have both SCAL2 and SCAL 3 on my computer, and it hasn't messed anything up. SCAL3 won't overwrite SCAL2 on your hard drive - other than sharing the same desktop icon, they behave (for lack of better explanation) like two different programs. I am running Windows 7 FWIW.

I have both versions too, and use them both. There are things that you can't do in SCAL2, so then I use SCAL3, but I really prefer the way SCAL2 behaves. ;0)
