The 1.005 update for eCAL for both Windows and Mac can be downloaded at

- Added additional Cut line types to help with Print2Cut. There is a "Print2Cut Cut" that will cut but not print, and a "Print2Cut Print" that will print but not cut. This is the alternative to settings strokes and fills to None.
- Added option to close open paths under the Path menu
- Added option in Shadow Layer window to inset shadow
- Fixed dash lines/fill colors when saving/importing certain SVG files

i tried to install the update,but it failed.got the message"an error occured while trying to replace the existing file;deletefile failed,code 5 access denied.click retry to try again,ignore to skip this file(not recommended)'or abort to cancel installation" what should i do next?

I downloaded just fine on windows 7 64bit. What platform are you using?

Just downloaded and opened it. Works fine on the MAC!

For install errors on Windows:
Make sure the old one is not currently open and running when installing the update. You can also try to uninstall the old one first.
Otherwise, try to right click on the installer .exe file and choose to run it as Administrator first.

would someone explain this to me.

It moves the shadow line just 'inside' the outline of the image, instead of outside the image.

u know that was so dumb of me. I knew exactly what it was but I just read it wrong and when I went back and read it I said oh duh.
