Does anyone know

Is it possible to convert a gsd file to an svg and if so, how? I'm a newbie Expressions/SCAL user so there is alot I'm still trying to learn, so thank you for the help in advance

yes, you can take a screen shot & open that in any photo editing software--like adobe photoshop etc. save the screen shot as a jpg & open that jpg in inkscape; trace in inkscape.

that's how I do it :)

View this topic from way back. You would need software that allows you to view pdf (which I linked to in this previous post) and then you can print as a PDF.

btw, there're some great free or low cost screen shot programs available. I'm new on the forum, so I don't know if we're permitted to post other software program names. But a google search should pop up some good ones. I use my screen shot program basically every day that I'm on the computer. I just captured some line art embroidery patterns that I think I will be able to use with SCAL to make a file for my brand new cricut which ISN't opened yet, but may still not make it inside the box until Christmas.

I hope to see more posts from you if you do purchase SCAL.
