I have a friend who would like to have the Masonic Logo and brought me the info from Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Square_compasses.svg
There is an svg already created in the website. Has anyone ever tried cutting an SVG from Wikipedia? TIA!

Yes I have and sometimes they work out fine and sometimes they need a little tweaking. I took a look at this one in Inkscape in the outline view and I thought maybe you didn't want those cut lines like they are in the svg. They are separate pieces so you can move them over to cut if you wanted to. See below:

I downloaded the file as a ping, then traced it in Inkscape and saved it as an svg which I've attached. One has the black background with the white top, or the other which is an outline cut. I didn't get a chance to test cut, so I hope they work if you decide to use them.
