Excited for You spinner card - cut file added

Here is my newest card-- it's a penny spinner. I made it for my friend who has just gotten a new job after a long time looking. The little disk is on a spinner, so when you tip the card, it rolls from one side to the other.

I used the little sticky dots like someone suggested, and what an improvement from the glue I was using! What a great tip!

I just looked up how to make penny spinner cards...this looks like fun. Love the cut you used around it. I would like to make this.
Your friend will love this!

Thanks! If you'd like the file, I'd be glad to post it. I just hate to stick a bunch of junk out here if it's not something someone would want.

I found another 'spinner' card that I think I'll try next. It uses dental floss to supend a 'thing' in an open aperture so it spins around. It's pretty cute, I think.

Those are darling, gj1! I LOVE the writing inside the slider opening.

Posting my cut file here. I glued the pink lacy piece onto the plain white one for stability, and attached those to the card base with pop-dots after I put the pennies together. I used two in each spot, one on top of the other to make sure they were high enough to allow for the pennies to roll. I also used two between the two pennies. (I'm not sure if all dimensionals are the same height.) I found that it was a little sticky at first, and the penny didn't roll so smoothly, so I used a tiny paintbrush with a little dry cornstarch powder on the sticky spots, and on the sides of the pop-dots between the pennies. It took all the stickiness away so they could roll smoothly. I can see a million fun ideas for this type of card! I hope other people will post what they do.
