I am using Ecal for the eclips. It is supposed to be like scal 3, I think. My problem is when I import some SVG's I can not see them to edit them. I can only see them when I hit the preview button. They cut out ok but editing is a pain. I have this problem esp with the designs from my vinyl designer. Any suggestions?

Go to View and Fit to Window and see if you can see it then. And if you can see 'some' of it, such as the outline...right click on the edge of it and go to Arrange and Send to Back,...maybe.
I hope this gets resolved....this is all I can thing of.

Try checking to see if color and stroke are set to "none" or white in the appearance panel.
Open the layers panel and click on one of the elements in the design and look at the appearance panel to see
Add a stroke color, or fill color and see if that fixes it.
I don't have any svgs from MVD but I've seen the problem before on eCAL.
I tested my theory on the font Regal in Inkscape and without a stroke it only shows in preview.
Let us know if this solves your problem.
