Getting Error Message

I have SCAL 3 (very recent purchase) and a new Silhouette Cameo. I have cut using the program on one occasion. I don't know of anything I am doing different today, but I get an error message that tells me that it can't find my Silhouette machine

. It tells me to make sure it is connected and on (it is)

, any ideas?

My husband noticed my frustration, and suggested I use his Mac. So I downloaded the software to his, lo and behold, it worked (just like mine did a few days ago!). Looking forward to someone telling me the (probably) one little thing that I don't have set up correctly that will make my problem go away!

Ok, so now I trashed and reinstalled to my mac. Again, IT WORKS!

Just a glitch in the software? Anxious to know if there is another solution. (or a software update?)

Sent the issue on to CE for you. Hopefully we will hear shortly if they can give any insight.

Make sure Silhouette software is not running at the same time as SCAL. May cause a conflict.
