Craft Edge

I tried to removed the nodes I didn't want. But when I tried to cut it, it was a mess.
I would like to cut the blackout or silhouette, diaper and his round face. If possible I would like to get rid of the 2 white little wing like things on his back. Is that possible? Does anyone have a tutorial how to convert for Inkscape? I would like to learn how that way I can help someone else instead of being the one that always needs help.
