Here is an acorn I drew.. Only before realizing there was one in SCAL...LOL I used the pattern technique for the top of the acorn.. This is what i came up with.. There is also the scut attached..

Your patterned acorn is good and your leaves are GREAT!!! Love the veins in the leaves!!! I have tried this and it is not easy to get it to look right. TFS
