How do you do this???

How is the pink done? Is it layering? If so how is it done? Thanks for the help!

Yes it is layering.. just create your image and duplicate on the second image use path/outset.. in inkscape..

In scal it is a shadow(copy paste and make a shadow of one)...and if you want the whole thing flush...you would make a copy of the first middle normal image and then with the other normal image on top of the shadow you could go MERGE or Back minus Front and it will put a blank spot for you to insert the copied normal image you just made.
That is probably not very clear. Sorry.
