Can't get SCAL2 to work.

What is wrong with my SCAL2 When I try to cut it says that it doesn't recognize my cricut. What should I do. I have the usb cable pluged in and I think everything else.

I would shut everything down, unplug the cables, plug them back in, restart the computer and turn on the Cricut. If it worked b4 it should still work. Also check your firmware version when starting the Cricut.

Yes, I have used it alot. But today is says that My cricut is not connected I even tried using my Cricut Design studio and that didn't work. What the heck.

You may need to download a driver at the bottom of the page above, I am not positive. Sometimes things go wrong and drivers get deleted or some confusing business like that...bummer.

It could also be the USB cord instead. Run a test and plug your printer into the spot on your computer and see if it will print.
OR take the printer USB and plug that into the cutter and then the port on the computer and see if the cutter will be recognized to determine if it is the cord.
