Would it be possible to make it correctly start SCAL when you double click on a SCUT file?

Thanks!

That would be nice. I wonder if there's a way to do a Window's file association? (I don't know what the equivalent is in Mac.)

(This is from memory, I might be slightly off, as this isn't the cutting PC, and the cutting PC doesn't have internet access)

I associated the file and it kicks off SCAL, but it does not open the file after opening the program. It just comes up to a blank cutting mat if I recall correctly.

You're right, that's exactly what happens. I agree, it would be nice to be able to double-click on a SCUT file and have it automatically open in SCAL.

An aside - have you noticed, SCAL has "Open Project" to open an SCAL file rather than "Open File"? I wonder if that's because they intend on giving us layers or multiple mats or something further down the road. Just a thought...

To get your scut file to open everytime with sure cuts alot this is what you need to do

go to a scut file and right click
go open with
choose a default program
browse
find craft edge file
sure cuts alot file
sure cuts alot symbol
open

Now you will see all your ink scape symbols turn into sure cuts alot symbols and everytime you click on it you will open it into sure cuts alot program
