Vinyl on tile

I just put a vinyl (Oracal 631)monogram design on a standard tile for a wedding shower. The tile will sit on a platestand. I am wondering if I should be putting some sort of sealant on the tile?

If you use a glossy sealant that will give the tile a shiny finished look which will add to it's beauty.

I don't seal mine either, but I always use Oracal 651 (outdoor vinyl).

I don't seal mine but after a lot of use as coasters the lettering will lift off.
