Craft Edge

When I first started up my cricut and was testing SCal, I cut a bunch of stuff, including ornamental corners, lower case 'c',which cut beautifully, which cut as a shadow would, only not as thick. The other day, I tried again, and it was cut to pieces, just as the preview shows. Does anyone know how I was doing it before to prevent it from making all the inner cuts?

Would it be possible to post a picture showing before and after? It's hard for me to understand what each cut looks like. TY

Finally found what happened - two fonts have very similar corners - also is found in "Designer mixed" without the extra lines. Thank you!
