I love the new SCAL 3. My Gazelle cut like a dream. I ran it through some hard tests. My favorite thing I was able to nail perfect Print & Cuts. No lines on my free cuts. Perfect centering on prints I would put shapes around, example owl in a circle. Thank you for adding the Gazelle to your software. My Gazelle mat lines up perfectly with the new software too. I don't have to rely on my Cricut mat when trying to place items.
Only had one glitch and the machine is still noisy. My machine is noisy on MTC too but it's quiet on Funtime. The software is running great on my system. Does anybody know what the Advance function is in the Cutter menu? I clicked a billion times and nothing happened.

Glad to know it worked great. I downloaded it but wasn't able to give it a try cuz had abusy weekend. Probably won't get to try it till Wed if I'm not too tired after work.
Advance doesn't work for me either. Possibly a future option.

I'm getting ready to try out the new SCAL with my Gazelle also. Do you know if you have the gazelle mat on SCAL in portrait mode if it cuts true to what you see on the screen? IE in portrait mode, the bottom right is the bottom right of the mat when you load it in the gazelle? TIA.. I'll let you know what I think too, I am SO excited SCAL works with the Gazelle now!

Ok I just did it myself and for anyone that is wondering, yes! It is true to wysiwyg as far as the mat when in portrait orientation. I LOVE it! I was able to kiss cut the vinyl perfectly on my gazelle on the first try. I got so intimidated with this adjustable blade but so far I've had no problems with it. Just read up on their forum on how far to extend it and it's not hard at all. I am so so happy with my gazzy!!

I should have wrote that I did everything in portrait mode.

I was so excited to see true WYSIWYG too that it slipped my mind, lol. I was amazed how fast it cut and too perfection. I love it.
I am still trying to figure out what that Advance feature is on the menu.
