Craft Edge

I am having trouble tracing an image in SCAL 2. It is a reg. trademark, but I have written permission to use it by the company, and Scal 2 cuts some of the image out. I have tried several different pictures from the company and it will not let me trace any of the images that the owner emailed to me.
Any suggestions, I am open to try anything. The company is waiting for some products with their name on them.

What is the extension on the file? Also, what colors are you working with? If it isn't black and white, you will probably need to adjust the trace settings. I have more information on SCAL2 trace settings here.
