can't get past checking cartridge

I'm new to SCAL and I can't seem to get past checking mat and/or checking cartridge when I try to cut. What am I doing wrong?

Have you seen the first two videos on craftedge? The ones for installing the software and installing usb drivers for your computer to be able to communicate with your die cutting machine?

I'm guessing there's a problem with the usb drivers. Either they aren't the correct ones or they didn't install properly.

(Craftedge has usb drivers posted on their site that you can download.)

If the steps in the videos don't fix the problem, then you could send an email to support@craftedge.com and list your computer, operating system (Windows type or mac), which update number of SCAL you have installed on your computer and the kind of die cutting machine your using (Cricut, Robocraft etc.)

Was cutting today and same happened to me. I shut off Cricut, restarted computer, opened SCAL and then turned on Cricut -- then it worked fine. First it ever happened to me.
