I have a giraffe print svg and I want to use it to cut a letter. My svg is square and when I put the letter A in it, there is all of this extra cuts outside the A. How can I get rid of that or is there a way to get rid of it. Thanks in advance!

v,

are you using SCAL or Inkscape since the instructions are a bit different.

If you can post the file that would be helpful too.

See ya!

Here's how.

Open your giraffe file in SCAL
type you letter and size to fit
select both objects

I'm not sure this is the answer you seek. Do you want to cut out the letter from the Giriffe pattern paper? If so this is not the answer.

for that you'd print the giraffe paper, and do a cut/print. There a alot of tuts on this forum for how to do cut and print.

Let us know if you need more help to get what you want.
