"How to" topic section for posting of written tips and trick

This might be a lot to ask, but I am seeing posts with members explaining very nicely how they accomplished a technique in SCAL and Inkscape, but they are scattered all over. It would be nice to have one place to post these nice written "tutorial" directions with a place to upload the image (just as in a regular posting). I am losing track of where I am seeing these "tips and tricks" and started to copy and paste them into Word documents, but it seems it would be easier if they were all in once place.

Yep...got that link. Guess I was thinking of just this forum only and not having to leave it to go look at individual blog sites, too. It was just a thought........

We do have the
Tips, tricks and tutorials section on this forum...but a lot of times stuff get explained in someone else's post as a response.
Or, like yesterday...I just share a design...so I put it in Designs
Then, last night...I edited to add some explanation.
Then, this morning added more and it is a full tutorial now...and I will copy paste it to the tutorial section, as I do think it could be helpful to some others.

You are right...I see it now. I'll take this one down so as not to have a useless post on the forum.

Once a post has a reply, it can't be deleted. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I have been using the Snipping tool in Windows 7 to collect tips and tricks. Then I use the old-fashioned method of keeping the print-outs in a file folder.
