Make thick lines thinner

I found a template online that I wanted to use to make some favours for a bday party I'm helping to plan. I was able to white out all the score lines and stuff so they wouldn't be cut...but when I tried to cut it, all the outside lines cut twice, and yes, I have checked my settings and it is set to cut only once. I suspect its because the lines are thick...I was wondering if there was a simple way to thin the lines so it only cuts once...

I have attached the file I am talking about (hopefully!) so you can see what I'm talking about...it looks fine as it is, but when loaded into SCAL you can see how thick the lines are and in some areas there are 2 cut lines.

I'm actually OK with it as it is, after all, its for a friends little girl so It doesn't have to be perfect, but I'm asking in case I come across this problem again...

Thank you!

I looked at the image in Inkscape and removed the extra lines. See how this works.

I learned about Inksscape from this mb. It is a free download where you can change images into svg's (at least that is what I use it for). It's like SCAL but you can do much more with it.

I posted a file for that in 2010.. I bet if you searched cake box it would have turned up.. Ahhh you didn't have inkscape?? that's probably why the link I sent you before didn't show up..
