I have several of the Quickutz gst. files. I would love to be able to use them with Sure Cuts A Lot. Is there any way to use the Quickutz shapes with Sure Cuts A Lot since they are all in gst. format? Jill

I think there was some discussion about this over at the Yahoo group. Maybe check there? It sounded complicated to me but I'm completely unfamiliar with the product so maybe it's less complex than it seemed to me.

Jill, email me a gst file, and I will see if I can open it in illustrator or draw. If I can, then you can convert them to th sgv format. I am at

I don't know about file conversion, but I do know of two ways you can do it.
*cut the file in black paper. scan it & save it as a jpeg, jpg or bitmap. open in inkscape & trace & save as a svg. open in SCA & cut.
*if you can, copy & paste the file to adobe photoshop or similar program. fill the image with black, save as a bitmap, jpeg or jpg. open in inkscape & trace & save as a svg. open in SCA & cut.
here's a link to QK font comparisons & where to find the font, etc.
