I need to beef up some skinny letters...

I'm having a heck of a time. I purchased a beautiful font and I love it(Feel Script), but some of the little curly Q's are so tiny they don't cut well. I tried to beef them up by the shadow effect, but it doesn't work on all the words. Hope someone can help me, any ideas... please. This is part of the design I want to put on a 12" tile.

Do you have inkscape.. If you do.. bring the word into inkscape and use the path/outset feature.. I love this feature and use it quite a bit...

I'm sorry but I don't know a lot about inkscape. I wish I did.

In SCAL 2.030 if you use the shadow rounded and then there is alittle box next to that where you can go up(or down)with the amount of shadow. I can't think any better way to explain it. Look for the little box guage thing next to shadow option.

I instinctively go to Ink to make anything. When I tried to fatten them up one more time, most of the openings in the letters were getting lost. I'm going to have to start playing with SCAL more. I keep downloading the upgrades, but I never try them out.
