Craft Edge

I would like to make a glass bock with a nutcracker on it. Not sure whether to use a silhouette or one with colored layers. I found a couple of nutcrackers online but am not skilled enough with scal to get them to look nice. Anyone with suggestions or a design would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Judy
