Image changes

Post by doc102003 »

I have been cutting vinyl decals for about two months now. Settings are 3 on pressure and speed. When I do images sometimes they cut great other times it seems like parts of the image that I have edited change back to how they were before. Like I have an image where I had to make the eyes a little larger so that they were cut better. It cut a couple of the images great and then here recently it seems like the eyes have become smaller again. I was wondering is there something I am missing? or is there something wrong with my Sure Cuts A Lot or my cricut, which is less than 6 months old. Also I am running Sure Cuts A Lot version 2.029. Thank you for any input.

When you think back is there any chance that the change came when you upgraded to 2.029?

This is basic but I have to ask because I have made this mistake. Are you sure you saved the changes and are using the most recent version of the file?

yes I saved the images after I edited them. And yes it does seem that it seems to have started happening after I got the new version. It also seems that the program has become a little crash happy. Is it possible that the new version is part of the problem?

I would really like some help with this. I am about to go insane. I have recently printed a yoshi svg. The one I printed last night I had an issue with the eyes, so I went in and made the eyes bigger. This afternoon printed the yoshi svg now my nose and eyes are smaller. Am I missing something? It seems like the program is changing the sizes of the smaller parts. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

My problem with that build has been shadows. I use a lot of shadows to layer things and on the screen its right, but when it cuts out it's shadow (straight) instead of shadow (rounded). And it's not consistent in which ones it switches, so now I have one build on my laptop and one on my desktop til its fixed. Other than that I love the new build with the ability to print and export!
