I just got a chance to cut these and they look fantastic except the very top of the bowl doesn't cut right. Maybe the line is to thin, I'm not sure. We just drew these out so maybe it needs changed a little to make a better cut. I will try my hand at it but if anyone wants to help I sure would appreciate it. Thank you again Heather for helping so quickly!!

I have a good friend that draws these images on cards for many people with her church. She asked me if I would be able to cut out several for her. I know just enough to get myself in trouble but not enough to make this work for me. I have SCAL2. Thank you so, so much! Hopefully, I posted the pictures. She made them in Adobe so they were PDF but we converted to SVG but when I pull them up in SCAL2 the shapes are there but not right. :)

Did you want just the silhouette? Ungroup everything in Inkscape, then select all of the pieces for the background and use Path/Union. Select the piece for the inside of the container and use Path/Stroke to path then Path/Break apart. Delete the outer piece for the bowl.

there are two things going on. one is that the silhouettes are made of several pieces that haven't been combined, and the other is that the rim of the bowl is made using a stroke, which won't cut. union combines all of the shapes and path/stroke to path converts the line into a shape. hth

ps sorry about the lack of caps, but either my 2yr old spilled something on my keyboard or the cat threw up on it and the left shift and control keys aren't working right. :?

Thank you. I won't get a chance until tomorrow to play with it but I appreciate your instructions very much! If I didn't have to work everyday I could play, craft and learn sooo much. :)

Thanks again!
