Craft Edge

I have this design in Inkscapes but have no idea how to change it into a SVG so I can cut it. I also want to trace it with a Cricut pen so I get the inside lines.

There is no image within this file.

If you have created the dove in Inkscape and saved it, then you only need to import it into SCAL.

Try saving the file again and posting it, or try opening it in SCAL.

You will need to either trace your image, or use the Bezier tool to draw around it. For more specific info, either post the image or open your file in Inkscape, select the image, then from the menu Extensions/Images/Embed images.
