New Expression

I just purchased an Expression and cannot cut--the pop-up stalls at "checking mat". I have had the little bug and never had a problem so I presume it is because of the new machine. What do I need to do?

i don't think it is the machine. there is a lot of conversation on the board about that happening. do a search on the mb and put in the words checking mat . maybe that will lead u to one of the posts and you can figure it out. hope u get it soon. i love my E.

I think your going to need to do a reset. The instructions are on the Cricut MB. Here it is:

Cricut is moving their servers sloooowly over. Everything keeps getting rearranged. I don't think the above link will disappear. If it does here's the number: 1-877-727-4288.

I had SCAL version 1.011 and downloaded version 1.016--that did it.
