Does SCAL Library make computer run slow?

I just watched the SCAL tutorial on SCAL library...looks cool....but just wondering....would loading all my svgs into SCAL library slow down my computer? Right now, I have all my svgs on a flash drive. I like the idea of being able to preview! Anybody know the answer??? TIA

in scal 1 it made scal take a LOOOOng time to start up. I made a big library but then deleted it for that reason. I did not try it on my scal 2 though.

Would probably depend on how many files you put in there. I added about 40 of my favorites and haven't noticed any problem with it being slow.
It does cause a problem and will slow it down when you have a large amount of fonts so I would image the same thing could happen if you tried to load a ton of cutting files to the library.
