These are amazing!! Thank you very much for the info! They are soooo detailed, so I can understand why they would take longer to cut, but I really thought my machine was broken, because they take EXTREMELY long. I've never had this before with really detailed files. Is anyone else having the same problem?

I believe she had posted something on the blog bout taking them to inkscape and editing them and making them less detailed if you preferred .

They need to be simplified. If you open it in ink and select one, you will see (at the bottom) that there is usually over a thousand nodes beacause of the intricacy. The more nodes, the longer it takes to cut. If you simpllify them, there are less nodes. However, you may need to change your settings in ink for doing that as the original simplification settings in ink might make it mishapen by removing too many nodes. There is a thread about how to change those settings on the forum here http://forums.surecutsalot.com/viewtopi ... y+settings (read the third post down on how to do this). HTH!

I'm not sure, as I haven't been able to upgrade yet (low funds :D ), but I think SCAL2 has a simplify option. You might want to try it?
