or do I have to re download again if( unlikely but you never know) my MacBookPro crashes.?
I have so many questions which are triggered by others asking stuff. Please forgive me while I sort it out before paying out a lot of money for this software which looks brilliant.
Thanks
Use a MAC computer running 10.6.7: SCAL v 2.043 If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours!
I have joined the wonderful world of Fiskateers no 7771
I put a backup copy of just the SCAL file but I don't have it extracted on there.... I have previous copies of my SCAL saved on the external as well...
I fyour machine crashes and you have to get a new copy of SCAL onto a new computer you just go to their web site and download the latest version again. Keep a copy of the emial confirmation you get with your registration number so you can re-enter that, but if you have any trouble downloading a new copy then SCAL support people are great - they helped me out when I got my new laptop and needed to put SCAL on it.
It is my understanding that if your system crashes for some reason you can contact Craftedge with license # and download the program again. I backup my files to an external so I won't loose all my work.(SVG and Scut files) I also have a properly working updated version of the software. I love SCAL it is well worth the investment. If you want to leave the limitations of cartridges and DS you have found the software. Scrappingtable.com has a 20% discount bundle offer going on right now, you might want to check that out. Carol
