Does anyone have any suggestions on a good brand hopefully reasonably priced on binding little books? I'd like to make a child's book using plastic, not metal parts. I saw that there is a new machine out, using metal binding. Or, maybe there is some other way of putting it together suitable for a small child you know about? Thanks!

If you are going to only do a few books, you are probably better off going to your local office supply or copy store where they can do this for you, rather than buying a system. HTH

I have the Zutter system. Love, it or should I say my husband loves it. Took it away from me. Pretty reasonable on the price at Hobby Lobby if you have their 40% coupon. Sorry but this week they don't have a coupon for 40 off but most likely will soon.

Forgot to say it does have metal attachment to hold it together. I know staples has the plastic one but I didn't want the plastic rings being chewed off by my granddaughter. Metal wasn't sharp at all.

I have a rubicoil system that is really nice for kids things as it uses colorful plastic coils.

If you want something cheaper, but not as attractive, you can go with the comb binding systems from office depot, etc. They are cheaper and supplies can be found easily.

You could always use those plastic rings they use to hold tiebacks for curtains???or use the plastic laces they use to make friendship bracelets..

The site that Kay posted also has the Rollabind and the new Cinch from We R Memory Keepers. I have the Zutter Bind-It-All and have found it a great tool at a great price. i did purchase it used from Ebay.

I have not purchased any of their o-wires though. I buy the $1 notebooks they clearance out at Michaels. For 25 to 50 cents I can get wires in multiple colors and a good length.
