I have the silhouette on
my blog. This one really brings back a lot of memories, though I haven't been over the bridge in quite a while now.

That was all done using the Bezier tool with a photo in Inkscape.

The bezier tool is really pretty quick and easy to use in Ink, not so much in SCAL.
BTW, you probably think I'm a loon, connecting the Mackinac bridge with the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

In my mind they are tied together from all of the trips to Houghton over the bridge.

No...LOL....I don't think you are a loon....I figured the water in that one picture...the thunderstorm...is what triggered your thoughts.

It looked pretty scary!
I really have to take the time to learn Inkscape better. Thanks again!!!

Heather,
You did a great job on the bridge. I was thinking to myself yesterday, that this will need to be redrawn as most of the pictures I found didn't have enough contrast to convert with the two white towers. I love going across the bridge. Try it on a motorcycle when you have to ride the grid instead of the pavement and you can see right down to the water. It is pretty exciting.

Um, no thanks. I didn't even like walking across the lift bridge between Houghton and Hancock.
