PDF to SVG

Does anyone know if you can convert a pdf file to a file to cut with sure cuts alot? If so can some one do it for me?? I'm totally new to Sure cuts alot and have only ever cut downloaded files or fonts. Any help would be greatly appreciated so that I don't have to hand cut a ton of stuff for my sons birthday party on Saturday!!

You would need a program like Inkscape in order to covert PDF files to SVG.

You can also get a free program called PDF Creator.. just google it..

While you can use that program to convert a pdf into an svg, I wouldn't really recommend it. I just tested a pdf with it, and when PDF creator converted the file to an svg it created a file with a group of 17839 objects (that translates into 17839 layers in SCAL2
totally not pretty). I opened the same pdf directly in Inkscape and it had 105 objects. Much simpler to just open the pdf in Ink and save as an svg. HTH

I am using a mac (MAC AIR) And been trying for a long time to convert files from PDF to SVG but with no success
