Newest Update a PAIN!!!

I've never ever ever in all my previous versions of SCAL had problems like I'm having with the newest update. .It sux... at least it does for me.. It is saying cutting complete and it hasn't even started.. What gives with that.. I have all the original settings in my computer so I know it's nothing to do with my laptop..Anyone have the previous version still??? I wish we had the option on our SCAL file to rollback to a previous working file..

Bummer! I am still using the .07 version because of all the problems with version .010. I was hoping .011 would have solved all those problems. I guess I have to wait some more.

Like I said I didnt have it with any of the previous versions.. Darn.. there's a card I must get done too .. We need a roll back feature with SCAL...

I haven't tried with my E, but my baby bug with firmware 1.34 works with the 2.011 on my XP machine. Do you think it might help to update your firmware?

Just cut two things and so far so good. One had a design and wording (purchased stick figure with added wording)and the other just a design I worked on (imported image from Inkscape that I didn't do anything to but trace). I'm noticing that everyone so far who has posted with problems lists Vista in their profile. While I have not done any sort of major cut I wonder if that is possibly the problem? Not that I know a darn thing, but it is a common link.

I didn't notice the other version checking the mat while cutting but that may be because I hadn't looked.

Hi All,
I installed it and had to delete it. My 4 year old sony vaio running xp could not handle it. But I am back running. This is why I save all the updates on an external drive, the fix is easy peasey. Have a great night.

Thanks heather.. You are such a sweetheart.... I can't thank you enough.. and I don't know why they would get mad.. They should have at least kept the previous versions on their site as we have paid for this program..
