image gets distorted when imported into SCAL

I have converted an image I designed into an SVG file using inkscape. The image looks normal when viewed in inkscape but when i import into SCAL the image gets distorted. I have attached the jpg image that i created and the svg file that I converted it to. I am running SCAL 2 in windows 7. I hope someone can help

In inkscape make sure you use the path/union option.... that's why your letters are distorted..

Try the 2.011 update, it looks like they have fixed the SCAL2/Ink47 compatibility problem.

Thanks for bringing the fix to my attention Heather.. I downloaded it earlier this am but didn't really play with it.LOL.. Priorities!!!!
