help with a scut file

I found a really cute bus on the website I listed below - I think there's issues with the svg files as three of the different files have the same name so I downloaded the scut file which again is great !! but on the one part of the design which is the overlay of the bus there's a big box around the cut file so you waste a lot of paper cutting this out. My question is that box there to make that one desisgn - I cannot ungroup (scut) I do not know anything about inkscape - just wondering why the box is there - I am using this design to make invitations so I will be wasting a lot of paper.

TIA for an anwer.

If you have Scal 2.10 if you can't ungroup use the breakapart feature instead.. then you will probably be able to remove that box...

I'm not sure if this will help or not but I made a bus card. I haven't cut it out yet.

I do not have the 2.010 so I guess thats why I am not seeing the feature to use since I cannot ungroup - but thanks for the info

Also thanks for the other bus file - but i have all the pieces cut out for the other one except the overlay - left that for last to see if anyone knew how to change it so i wouldn't waste so much paper - cannot locate the owner of this design "Expressionjunkie"

Thanks to all who tried to help.

Since you have SCAL2, why not update so 2.010? If you don't like it, you can always go back to your previous version. :)

No problem. I removed the box for you. This is the top layer of the bus where the box was only, since you said you had everything else cut out. :D

Thanks for the replies:

I have not downloaded 2.010 heard too many issues with it and i do not know this program enough yet -- I am in the middle of the birthday invites as well as somne saying putting on glass candle holders for a wedding . . . So changes now would not be good for me.

Can't wait to get home from work to try the scut file and see if it worked this time - last time it was changed I got a red scribbled up mess. If I have uploaded it right I attached the last outcome along with the original .

Well it is telling me the .doc extension is not allowed so I can'g attach a picture of what I am talking about. but thanks for the help
