To upgrade or not to?

I would like to purchase the upgrade to SCAL I am on a MAC. I would love to know what other MAC users think.
Did they fix the power cycling problem? Do I have to turn off the computer after every cut?
Can I cut all the old SCAL version 1 files with no trouble on Version 2?
What problems are you having with the new version and what's great about the new version?

I would recommend upgrading. I am on a mac running snow leopard. There is so much flexibility and with flexibility comes creativity. Many of the problems have been fixed and the new upgrades are sooo worth it. I am looking forward to the 2.10 upgrade.
