Could someone help please?

Hello~
My aunt Shelby passed away yesterday and I am trying to convert this photo to make a nice memorial for her daughters...I don't seem to have the patience or expertise to convert it...could someone help me please?

Sorry about your loss. What are you wanting to convert? Are you wanting a scut file or something to do with the picture itself.

Terribly sorry for your loss. I'm no pro, but I gave it a go converting the photo to an SVG. Hope it might help!

Since the background was dark, I took the photo into Photoshop and removed the background and adjusted the levels, then in Inkscape I played with the trace threshold until I got the best possible trace. After that I removed the fill and set a narrow contrasting stroke so that I could see the photo through the trace and used the node tool to remove some of the small areas and to clean up the lines, especially around the mouth and eyes. I also used the bezier tool to draw in the lines for her jacket, set the stroke width, then Path/Stroke to Path followed by Path/Union with the trace. I also used the bezier tool to add some detail to the bridge of her nose. Finally I set the fill and removed the stroke so that I could see how it would look, but that step isn't really necessary.
