Wrong cut-results.

Post by Snijderke »

When I draw a triangle with X = 100mm. and Y = 200mm., than the cutted output = X = 100mm. and Y = 198mm. I use a GCC-iCraft cutter.
System = Windows 10, 16GB
Software = SCAL4-Pro (same wrong results with SCAL5-pro).

Anyone some solutions? Thanks in advance.

Hi Gerard! I recognize your name and I know you have a lot of experience, so I apologize in advance if I respond with things you already know. So, possible causes:

1. Speed is too high for cutting the particular material and slippage is occurring.

2. One or more pinch rollers and/or grit shafts are sticky and causing some slippage.

3. Scale calibration is required. It's not unusual for a cutter to need the sizing calibrated. The location for the calibration is under Cutter>Cutter Settings. Here's a step-by-step method to test and calculate the required setting to enter.
