Hi everyone! My name is Suzy from Tiffin, OH. Ever since I bought the bug, I had secretly thought I may have made a mistake by not purchasing the Wishblade or Silhouette. I was just surfing one night and came upon the Craft Edge site. To say I was excited would be an understatement!

It sounded too good to be true...just what I had wanted!!

I downloaded the trial version and played around with it. A week later I sold my personal bug and bought the Expression and then purchased the full version of SCAL. I LOVE IT!!!

Hi Suzy and welcome. This is actually my first time in the scrapbooking section.

The people on this forum are so nice and helpful. Don't ever be afraid to ask any questions. Like you, I thought I made a big mistake when I finally took the plunge and bought the Expression. My purchased was based on all the good things I heard about SCAL. When I cut my first font, I knew I made the right decision.
I found Inkscape to be a little daunting at first. I'm still playing around with it and I'm getting better at it. There are quite a few good tutorials listed on this board, so take advantage of them. Have fun.

Hello everyone. I'm Sue .. and I live in Lancashire in the UK.
New to SCAL.. infact, I only bought it today

I have had the baby Cricut for just over a year now... but only owned 2 carts... so when I found out about SCAL.. I was over the moon. I heard about this forum over on UK Scrappers,, where I have been a member for a couple of months or so.
Looking forward to making new friends on here... and also getting to know SCAL
Off for a look around again.
Sue x

Hi! I've been lurking here for a while now, but feel like I can introduce myself now that I finally have the software installed and I'm ready to start learning it! My name's Suzi. I live in Utah. I've had my baby bug for a year and a half, and my big bug for a year now. I got SCAL a month or so ago and can't wait to start using it! I will be pouring through all the tutorials I can find so I can learn both Inkscape and SCAL! Oh, and I read about SCAL on the Cricut MB.

Hi, Linda from Las Vegas. Heard about SCAL from a free digital scrapbook site. I don't scrapbook, just make cards. I love SCAL because I can't afford those expensive cartridges for my baby bug since I recently retired. If we ever get our house sold, we will be moving to NE Az in the middle of nowhere (84 miles from the nearest Walmart!) so this will help keep me occupied. SCAL is so fun to use! I have downloaded a ton of dingbats to experiment with and am trying to learn Inkscape. I also downloaded a program for free called Paint.net to play with but it looks harder than Inkscape. This forum is so helpful to me and I appreciate everyone sharing their ideas and files.

Hi I am Brenda from bonnie Scotland.
Had the cricut since april and the scal program too. Absolutely love it. I can make some things using shapes, but cant for the life of me work out that inkscape program.
Heard about the forum from a friend, who bought a cricut same time as me - thanks Heidi - she told me about SCAL, knowing fine well I would spend even more of my cash on it as it was a computer program. Still not sure about using my circut carts, she did show me, but easier to use SCAL I think.
This forum is so cool, everyone is very helpful, and craftedge are just awesome.
