I made a heart box similar to those at svgcuts but I did it totally different. I just discovered a much better way to have made this would have been like this FlipFlopBox...in the folder with the download is a wonderful picture discription to create and the method would have been better probably.

Also, I put a 'Love' design by HeatherM

http://imagesbyheatherm.wordpress.com/

on my box now...I made it a bit thicker with the shadow feature, as I am not good with thin :), and I changed the shape some with the scale size arrows to fit the box. It is so pretty!

Next time I will do it this better way.

There's a version with a glued bottom on PaperScrapz. Search "star top box"

On the site mentioned in the post above, there is a box for free called 'squish' box.

I was looking for boxes online today, and came across this site...very nice but requires a sign in and I don't sign up to sites, can't keep track of all the passwords as it is. Anyway, it is good though because it makes me put on my thinking cap and try to work this brain of mine...I loved all of the boxes here, but made this one...it literally took me about 10 hours to figure out...I am kind of slow...retry after retry. A lot of wasted paper, but I did it. I am not going to post my file, because then maybe you will try too, and also...if you don't mind signing to sites...hers is free, I think...not sure, but I think so. When all was done, my design, hint is just a rectangle, with a lot of score lines and a handful of slice cuts for the no tape bottom. I also used glue dots inside on the top to get it to hold its shape.
I LOVE this little box-- it's so clean and cute. I don't think that one is free on her site-- I think that is one you pay for. I don't like sites you have to sign up for either, so I'll see if I can figure it out...

I like the squish box too. So perfect with no gluing!
I use a BabyBug, SCAL2.

10 hours working on 1 box? We need to look into a 10 step program for your soon with all the designing going on at your end (you do know I am joking).
